About trust - which is deeply rooted at La Confiance
“My great-grandfather, baker Jozef Borms, and his partner August founded La Confiance in the 1920s. They chose this name thoughtfully; Confiance means trust.
Jozef believed that you could win people’s trust through honesty, reliability and a commitment to achieve the best results every day.


A few years ago, I found his speculoos recipe. This inspired me to follow my dream, filled with the same values my great-grandfather held dear. Today, we revive this family recipe from 1924  using only the finest organic ingredients.
This way, everyone can enjoy the sublime taste of La Confiance speculoos!"

All of our delicious biscuits are made with passion by our fantastic team in Dendermonde.
We not only bake the La Confiance organic speculoos, but we also make the tasty and healthy bites of joy under the brand name Ceval. Read more about Ceval here.
