“My great-grandfather, baker Jozef Borms, and his partner August founded La Confiance in the 1920s. They chose this name thoughtfully; Confiance means trust.
Jozef believed that you could win people’s trust through honesty, reliability and a commitment to achieve the best results every day.

A few years ago, I found his speculoos recipe. This inspired me to follow my dream, filled with the same values my great-grandfather held dear. Today, we revive this family recipe from 1924  using only the finest local ingredients.
